Bingham McHale was noted among Indianapolis law firms by Corporate
Board Member magazine.
Bingham McHale was ranked 12th on the Large Company list, making
it the top large law firm in Indiana. Sponsored by the Indiana
Chamber of Commerce, this award recognizes companies that can
create a strong workplace culture in which employees feel valued.
Bingham McHale is ranked in the second tier for Litigation and
third tier for Real Estate. Seven attorneys are noted: David
Campbell, Lee McTurnan, David Prechtel, David Tittle, Mary Solada,
Wayne Turner, Brian Welch.
Attorney Rod Morgan was chosen by the Indiana Minority Business
Magazine for “[exhibiting] the true meaning of diversity
in his respective field as well as with his outreach.”
Attorney Daniel Byron earned the inaugural award from the Indiana
State Bar Association in 2004. The award is a tribute to an Indiana
attorney who best demonstrates qualities associated with civility
and professionalism.
Awarded annually; 10 attorneys were listed in 2008.
Attorney Marty Hollingsworth was recognized for her exemplary leadership—in
the legal profession and in extracurricular activities—and
for the significant impact she made during her career. Presented

Attorney John Chappell was recognized by the Lincoln Heritage District
- Boy Scouts of America for his outstanding community leadership
and service.
Attorneys Timothy Bender, Paul Corsaro and Greg Duncan all passed
the state examination to qualify as a Certified Estate Planning
Specialist.
Attorneys James Reed and Michael Kohlhaas wrote the best legal
article of 2007, according to the Indiana State Bar Association,
which published the pair's article--Family Law Issues Concerning
Gays, Lesbians, and Their Children under Indiana Law--in its
monthly magazine, Rae Gestae.
Attorney Marty Hollingsworth earned this prestigious award from
the Indianapolis Bar Association for her notable attainments, unique
contributions, and honorable service to the profession over a long
and distinguished career.
Bingham McHale ranks eighth on the Indianapolis Business Journal’s
annual rankings of the Largest Indianapolis-based Intellectual
Property Law Firms.
Bingham McHale ranked fourth on the Indianapolis Business Journal’s
annual rankings of the Largest Indianapolis-based Law Firms.
Brenda Johnson was awarded the Outstanding Board Member of the
Year Award by the Indiana Paralegal Association. This award is
given to recognize an outstanding member of IPA's Board of Directors
for their statewide organization.
For two years running, a Bingham McHale paralegal has been recognized
by the Indianapolis Bar Association for outstanding contributions
to the profession and to the organization: Angela White in 2008
and Eileen Ridgeway in 2007.
Attorney Karl Mulvaney earned special recognition from the Indianapolis
Bar Association for “having demonstrated the highest commitment
to genuine professionalism and the highest standards of legal
ethics.”
Several of our attorneys have been selected to participate in Indianapolis'
leading leadership program throughout the years. Most recently,
Sonia Chen has been selected to the SKL XXXIII class. Rafael Sanchez
was a member of the XXXII class. Mary Solada was a member of the
XVII class. Class members are selected on the basis of significant
community involvement and professional achievement, demonstrated
interest in community issues, a record of participation and achievement
in voluntary community activities, and willingness to expand their
leadership within the community.

For the third time in three years, a Bingham McHale attorney has
been recognized with an Up and Coming Award: Carolyn Clay in
2008 and C.W. Raines and Rafael Sanchez in 2006.
Attorney Whitney Mosby was recognized by the Young Lawyers Division
of the Indianapolis Bar Association for her service and commitment
to the organizations.
